Blue Harvest

To disguise the third Star Wars movie and to keep it more secretive, George Lucas gave the movie a fake working title while they were filming, He dubbed it Blue Harvest, it was supposed to be a horror movie. Lucas even wrote a tagline for the fake movie; 'Horror beyond imagination.' All of the crew on the Star Wars sets in America wore hats and shirts that said Blue harvest.

Blue Harvest is a parody of Red Harvest, a novel by Dashiell Hammett, A novelist, several of his book's were turned into movies, such as yojimbo, a classic samurai movie.

On the set of Indiana Jones, Steven Spielberg wore a Blue harvest hat.

Just Doodle.

Larry Page and Sergey Brin started Google in 1996 as a research project while working towards a PhD at Stanford, they registered their own domain in 1997 and by September 1998 they had a server set up in their friends garage.

After getting everything set up and running the young duo decided to head out to the desert to enjoy the burning man festival, to let Google users know they were away for a while they put a stick figure(famous symbol of burning man) in the Google logo. It was a hit and the Google Doodle was born.

Now they do a different doodle almost every day it seems, and they have different doodles for different countries. (found: here )

Now for my two favorites.

for the anniversary of the release of the game Pac-Man they turned the word Google into a level of Pac-Man for a day. (and no work was ever done that day.)

For Monday, Freddie Mercury's '65th birthday' Google had this animation made. This short animation captures so much of the band Queen and Freddie Mercury himself was all about, but I'll let Freddie explain that one. He once said
'We've gone overboard on every Queen album. But that's Queen'
